Canada's Anysia Unick and Texan Mackenzie Brannan captured the all-around titles Saturday evening at the Nadia Comaneci International in Oklahoma City.

Unick (Calgary) competed for the first time in 10 months following knee and elbow injuries, which kept her out of last year's Canadian nationals and world championships. She impressed with excellent form on all events, and hit ambitious skills on balance beam (double and tripls turns, sideways back handspring). Unick won vault, uneven bars and floor exercise.

Unick topped fellow Canadian Madeline Gardiner, who suffered falls on bars and floor exercise. The first-year senior, a 2010 Youth Olympian, took the top score on balance beam for an elegant and aggressive routine.

Reagan Hemry, a Level 10 gymnast from host club Bart Conner Gymnastics, took third all-around and on uneven bars (Tkatchev; giant-full double tuck).

In the junior all-around, Brannan (Capital-Austin) topped fellow Texan Abby Milliet (Denton). Romania's Ana Maria Ocolisan took this all-around.

Victoria Moors, who trains alongside Gardiner with the legendary Elvira Saadi, impressed on floor exercise with a double-double mount.
